Who we are:
Tara is a non-profit alcohol and drug addiction treatment center that was founded in 1985. We provide services to individuals 18 years of age and over. Our mission is to provide quality care to individuals and families affected by alcoholism and/or drug addiction by promoting life-long, continued recovery. We are licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the Joint Commission. The multi-disciplinary treatment team consists of licensed clinical and medical professionals that are committed to providing the best care to those we serve. Our program uniquely combines the 12-step model, holistic care, and evidenced based practices.

Levels of care:
Detoxification - Sub-acute (ASAM 3.7 level of care) detoxification services is provided for individuals meeting medical criteria.
Residential - 24-hour (ASAM 3.5 level of care) services are provided at gender specific locations.
Intensive Outpatient - Meets 3 evenings per week (total of 9 hours per week) for 9 weeks.
Outpatient - Meets 1 evening per week (total of 3 hours per week) for 8-12 weeks.

Admissions Process:
Our simple admissions process begins with calling 1-800-397-9978 to complete an initial phone intake. This can be completed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Following completion of the phone intake, a member of our admissions department will promptly follow up to discuss treatment options.
